Notice of Public Hearing of federal grant awards - JARC and NF Programs

The Jacksonville Transportation Authority (JTA) pursuant to the requirements of Section 5316 and Section 5317 of Title 49, United States Code, hereby gives Notice of Public Hearing of federal grant awards under the Job Access and Reverse Commute Program and New Freedom Programs. These awards were selected by the Competitive Selection Committee as required by the Northeast Florida Coordinated Mobility Plan. Skyway Construction Notice:

Beginning April 17, 2008, Skyway service will be suspended from River Place Station to Kings Avenue. Shuttle buses will transport passengers between the two stations Monday-Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.

Skyway

In observance of Independence Day, Skyway will be open the following hours:

July 4, 2008 6 p.m. - midnight

NOTE: For the safety of our passengers, Skyway will not operate 15 minutes prior to fireworks and 20 minutes after fireworks.

The Kings Avenue Garage will open at 5 p.m. and close at 12:30 a.m. for your dining pleasure on the South Bank prior to going to town. Parking will be $5 per car.
